Mary Ann Parilla serves as Managing Advisor-Quality Services at Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA). In this role, she supports Indiana clinicians in understanding and meeting the requirements of numerous national and state quality initiatives, including the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and its Merit-based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS), Meaningful Use (MU), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), and the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).

Mary Ann is an Indiana QPP Advisor for the QPP Resource Center™ for the Midwest (QPP-RC); and serves Indiana providers through the Indiana Medicaid Meaningful Use Assistance Program. She Ann also provides expertise to practices, clinics and hospitals through fee-for-service work, helping providers with work flow process analysis and redesign as well as the development of process-improvement plans. 

She joined the Purdue University-based Regional Extension Center (PurdueREC) in February 2011 to assist primary care and specialist providers in their efforts to implement electronic health records systems and to achieve a Meaningful Use status. To date, she has assisted more than 400 providers in successfully attesting to Meaningful Use.
 
Mary Ann received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.  In addition to a nursing background, she has extensive clinical experience in ambulatory settings and has worked in both clinical and practice management roles in physician practices for more than 14 years.  She earned a Lean Healthcare Yellow Belt and a Lean Healthcare Green Belt from Purdue University.
