So, let’s say your question is: I am trying to take pictures of really small flowers, but when I get close enough that it fills the frame, my camera wont focus on it. Why? What should I do?
Oh, that’s a great question and I definitely have an answer to it. Several actually.
Maybe you want to know how to properly light someone to reduce shadowing without washing out their face. I definitely have an answer to that as well.
The best way for me to write about the things you are interested in, is to tell me what you are interested in. I’d love to read about it. Write about it. Post about it.
So, go ahead. Drop into the comments section below and type in those questions, topics, subjects, interests.
In case you haven’t read the about me, I’m going to do a little intro here:
My name is Loyd Towe and I am a professional photographer living and working in Portland, Oregon. I have been doing the photography thing for over 12 years and spend time traveling all around the Pacific Northwest taking pictures of the natural beauty.
My photography passion is landscapes, and I have a somewhat obsessive affection for reflections. As a result, I am always in search of still waters with a mirrored surface to point my camera toward. As I was learning my photography skills and techniques I did just about every style; weddings, portraits, wildlife, nighttime and stars, super close macro photos, you name it.
My other pastime is creating and managing this blog dedicated to helping people become the photographer they wish to be.
Enough about me, lets hear about you. What do you want to see? Post a comment, or keep it private and drop me an email: Contact me
